Nuclear Materials Security (NMS)

Logan Mintz serves as a director for NTI’s Nuclear Materials Security program. In this role, she works at the intersection of national security and clean energy to promote the responsible deployment of nuclear energy by strengthening safeguards and securing the fuel cycle.

Prior to joining NTI, Mintz worked in various U.S. government positions, most recently at the Department of State. From 2022-2023, she served as the Director for Nonproliferation at the National Security Council.

Mintz earned a Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of Georgia, an M.A. in International Studies from North Carolina State University, and a B.A. in Political Science from North Carolina State University.
