Digital Communications Manager


Ryan Cahill joined the Nuclear Threat Initiative as digital communications manager in 2019. He is responsible for managing NTI’s digital assets, as well as guiding social media content and strategy for the organization.

Prior to NTI, Cahill worked as the digital manager at the Truman National Security Project and Truman Center for National Policy, non-profit organizations with a focus on national security and foreign policy issues. While at Truman, he dictated digital strategy via social media, graphic design, web development, and email campaigns. He also provided official training on social media and strategic communications to Truman members and outside organizations. Prior to Truman, he worked for three years in the Washington, DC office of Congresswoman Joyce Beatty of Ohio, where his roles on the communication and legislative teams advanced a wide range of priorities for the office.

Cahill is a Political Partner with the Truman National Security Project. He holds B.A.s in economics and political science from the University of Cincinnati.
