Bio
Suryakiran Nallapati is the intern for NTI’s Nuclear Materials Security team. In this role, he supports the team on Nuclear Reactors in Times of Crises and Middle East Fuel Cycle/Assured Fuel Supply projects with research work.
Nallapati graduated with an MA in Diplomacy from the Patterson School of Diplomacy, University of Kentucky, in December 2022. Prior to this, he had an MA in International Security from the University of Warwick, United Kingdom, a Masters in Space and Telecommunication Laws from NALSAR University of Law and a Bachelors in Aerospace Engineering from Amrita University, India. Nallapati interned at the Partnership for Global Security, Daisy Alliance, Reverse the Trend, and SCRAP weapons organizations working on nuclear disarmament, nuclear energy and security.
Nallapati loves motorbike riding, exploring new cities and nature reserves in his free time.
