Building a Framework for Assurance, Accountability and Action

The Nuclear Threat Initiative (NTI) Nuclear Materials Security Index is a first-of-its-kind public benchmarking project of nuclear materials security conditions on a country-by-country basis. The NTI Index, prepared with the Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU) with guidance from an international panel of experts, was created to spark an international discussion about priorities required to strengthen security, and, most importantly, encourage governments to provide assurances and take actions to reduce risks.

Please join us for a briefing about the NTI Nuclear Materials Security Index followed by a Q&A session with co-lead of the NTI Index project, Deepti Choubey, Senior Director for Nuclear and Bio-Security.

The event will be held at RUSI’s London headquarters between 1430 and 1600 on Thursday 9 February 2012.

If you would like to attend please contact Sabrina Downey, Director, Projects and Events, RUSI, as soon as possible at [email protected].
