Iran is set to reveal publicly a new round of domestically produced missiles, Iranian Defense Minister Ahmad Vahidi said on Wednesday.
“In terms of construction, we have reached a point where we can design and produce the military needs of the naval forces,” Iran's Press TV quoted Vahidi as saying to journalists.
Other internally built Iranian armaments include Fateh, Khalij Fars, Qiam, Shahab, Tondar and Zelzal missiles.
Meanwhile, Iranian Brig. Gen. Saeed Arablou on Thursday said his country's army is scheduled on Monday to initiate three days of practice activities, the news agency reported separately.
“This maneuver will be one of a kind and among the most spectacular drills ever held by the Iranian army,” the officer said, noting the exercise would include aerial elements of Iran's army ground forces.
