Statement from Ernest J. Moniz, Sam Nunn and Joan Rohlfing on Behalf of the Nuclear Threat Initiative Regarding the Passing of Bruce Blair

Bruce Blair lived a life of extraordinary public service. Throughout his career as a U.S. Air Force officer and public policy advocate, he committed his life to reducing the risk to America and our world of a nuclear war.  He combined a tireless passion with a unique ability to communicate with citizens, experts, and policy makers at the highest levels of government.  He will be missed by all of us individually who enjoyed working with him over many decades, and he will be missed on the front lines by a generation of activists and scholars who benefited from his strong and clear voice fighting for a world free of nuclear weapons.  All of us at NTI extend our condolences to the Blair family.
