Save to My Resources

The Nuclear Threat Initiative is proud to honor and celebrate former Secretary of State George Shultz's 95th birthday with the release of a new video, The Power of Ought. Highlighting Secretary Shultz's bold vision for a world free of nuclear weapons, The Power of Ought uses the Declaration of Independence and the phrase "all men are created equal" to illustrate how a vision can accelerate progress.

Secretary Shultz's vision for a world free of nuclear weapons, shared by former cabinet secretaries Bill Perry and Henry Kissinger and former Senator Sam Nunn, can help catalyze progress in reducing nuclear risks.
