NTI at the 10th NPT Review Conference

After a two-year delay due to COVID-19, the 10th Review Conference (RevCon) of the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT) will take place from August 1-26 at the United Nations in New York. At the conference, States parties to the NPT will come together to discuss progress on their treaty commitments.

NTI will host three side events during the RevCon:

NTI experts will also speak in events sponsored by other civil society organizations.

NTI | bio and VCDNP Host Discussion on Proposed Mechanism to Investigate High-Consequence Biological Events of Unknown Origin

NTI  and the Vienna Center for Disarmament and Nonproliferation (VCDNP) co-hosted a meeting on June 7, 2022 to explore the possibility of establishing a new “Joint Assessment Mechanism” to strengthen UN-system capabilities to investigate high-consequence biological events of unknown origin.
