New Interactive Website Highlights Key Verification Measures in Iran Deal

Sophisticated surveillance and tamper-proof seals on nuclear
material and equipment. Eyes and ears on the ground in perpetuity. A 24/7
inspection regime backed by support from across the international community.

The provisions of the hard-fought 2015 Iran nuclear
agreement are clear – yet there’s still some confusion over whether Iran would
ever be able to restart its nuclear weapons program. The answer is a clear no –
and today, the Nuclear Threat Initiative presents an at-a-glance interactive
summary of the deal that clarifies common misconceptions.

Scroll through our interactive website to learn about the deal’s
most crucial monitoring and verification requirements, provisions that remain
in place. Forever.

As NTI Co-Chair and CEO Ernest J. Moniz described in a
recent op-ed: “The most robust verification measures
the world has ever known are the heart of the Iran nuclear agreement.”

They simply don’t sunset.

Find out more about the Iran nuclear agreement and learn what
will be lost if the United States unilaterally withdraws and the deal
collapses.

The interactive was developed with the generous
support of the John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation.
