Pakistan allegedly began constructing a uranium enrichment plant in Golra in 1987. In early 1988, there was little consensus in the intelligence community regarding the status of Golra, and Pakistani officials denied that construction of an enrichment plant was taking place. No further open source information is available on Golra, and the status of a possible enrichment plant there is unknown.
